Utah in July
Heidi and I decided to be adventurous, possibly even crazy, and take a trip to Utah with 6 kids to visit Amy and her kids. Mark was in the final stages of studying for the bar and we were both ready to get away from the heat. We crammed into Susie's 8 seater minivan and hit the road. The kids did great (thanks to the DVD player) and we made pretty good time. These are the only pictures I have and they are from my phone. Heidi took all the pictures on this trip and I have yet to get those from her.
We started out the first day by taking the Trax down to Salt Lake to see the temple and go to the children's museum. Heidi and I recently signed up for a membership to the AZ Science Center and this worked out amazingly well on this trip. We got into every museum for free because of a reciprocal agreement. It was awesome and allowed us to see so many things while we were there! We went to Discovery Gateway and two of the places at Thanksgiving Point for free. We also spent one day at the zoo. When we asked the kids what their favorite thing was, they agreed that jumping on the trampoline was the best. I guess we didn't need to go anywhere. They would have been happy playing at Abbie's house.
