Tannis and Thomas

Tannis and Thomas got married on April 27. It was a beautiful day and the reception turned out wonderfully.

Accessories

This kid loves anything that he can put on his head or face: sunglasses, hats, stretchy headbands and even Mr. Potato Head pieces.

Stitches Round 1

With two rowdy boys running around, I knew this day would come. Elliot jumped off the edge of the pool, did a little twist and cut his chin open on the way down. I didn't think it was too bad at first, but realized he probably needed stitches when I looked at it. This was our first emergency trip to the hospital and won't be our last if they are anything like their father. He did great and didn't seem at all bothered by the whole event. He got to watch cartoons so he was happy as can be.

Easter

This was our first Easter in Arizona. It was much warmer than our Easter weekends in Spokane. We were on the brink of freezing during our Easter egg hunt two years ago, so this was much different. The kids loved it! They actually understood the egg hunt this year. And of course, we snapped a few shots on Sunday after church too.

This started as a nice back to back shot, but ended in a wrestling match. Everything around here ends with wrestling, or as Elliot likes to call it, "wrastling."

The Easter Bunny even showed up to one of Easter egg hunts. The boys wouldn't go near him unless we went too.

Preschool

These cute kids started preschool with Ms. Jones at the beginning of February. I was a little worried about how Landon would adjust to the idea, but he did great! They both love it and are doing so well. They are learning their letters, improving their coloring and painting skills and working on writing their own names. I have seen major progress already. Elliot came home after a few weeks of preschool and was able to write his own name with no help. On Thursdays, they have show and tell and treasure box. They love it and on Tuesdays ask me if it is Thursday yet. In the bottom right picture, Landon is running out after preschool showing off the piece of gum he got from the treasure box that day.

One of my favorite things about preschool are the little rhymes they are learning. The one they say the most often is "One, Two, Buckle My Shoe." They are also learning the Pledge of Allegiance. I love it!

Ms. Jones has a strict "no nose picking" policy. I guess a bunch of the kids do it and it is a regular topic of conversation at preschool. One day Landon walked into preschool, sat down on his carpet square and loudly announced, "I'm not even going to pick my nose today."

On the way home from preschool last week, he said, "I told Ms. Jones, 'Sometimes I pick my nose at home and you don't even know it.'"
