On Dallin's birthday, we met Heidi at Schnepf Farms and let the kids play. There were plenty of free activities to keep them busy. They rode on the bikes, dug in the sand box, saw the animals in the petting zoo and played on the wooden train.

Bike Park
Discovery Playground became our January obsession. I think we went there three times. Heidi introduced us to it and Landon and Elliot love it! They call it the bike park. The entire park is awesome, but they could care less about the toys. They love the kid sized road made just for riding bikes and scooters.

Cabin for New Year's Eve
For New Year's Eve we went to the cabin with the Crandells. Grandpa made a small hill in the backyard for the kids to go "sledding." They loved it! It was a crazy loud weekend with all those kids in one house.
We had a fire and roasted marshmallows. The marshmallows were HUGE! It looks like even Paige loved them.

Christmas Highlights
The boys were at a perfect age for Christmas this year! They were at a great age and were quite excited about Santa. We took them to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa and although they were a little nervous about it, I think they enjoyed it.
Landon LOVES cookies! He has a sweet tooth just like his mother. We were supposed to be playing in the snow, but he found the treat table instead.
The Crandell's neighbors brought a truck load of snow in on Christmas Eve. It was quite different than our last three winters in Spokane, but the kids loved it!
We had our traditional Christmas Eve program at my grandparents. It was a little crazy with all the young kids!
Christmas Morning
The highlight of Christmas morning was the Cars 2 racetrack. Landon kept pointing at it and saying, "That!" They loved it so much, they didn't even notice the bikes Santa brought.
We acted out the nativity scene with the Crandell cousins. It started out with reluctant, cranky kids, but the end result was pretty cute.

Polar Express Trip
For Christmas, the Crandells gave us tickets to the Polar Express. It was an awesome gift and such a fun trip to take with family. It was an awesome way to start the Christmas season. On the way there, we stopped in Flagstaff and played in the snow.
Landon liked sledding, but he liked running alongside the sled even more.
This was while we were waiting to board the train. We were able to see Mrs. Claus, check out Santa's mailbox and watch the train set.
Landon loved this mailbox.
And, now we are finally on the train. I love the pure looks of joy and awe in the next pictures. They were soaking it all in and enjoying every minute of it.
Ian was the most interested in the whole thing. It was cute to watch him.
Hot chocolate, please!
Here comes Santa!
