Walking Boys
After getting back from Arizona, both Landon and Elliot started walking more. Elliot is still in the stage where he takes 5-10 steps at a time. Landon is walking like crazy.

Happy Birthday To Me!
Brooks stayed home this morning and watched the boys while I got to sleep in. Then we enjoyed a great breakfast before he had to head off to school. He is bringing home dinner and a cake/cupcakes tonight. I am looking forward to it!
I flew home from Arizona last Thursday with the boys and Brooks' mom. She was able to stay with us for a few days and we had fun while she was here. She so kindly volunteered to watch the boys overnight and Brooks and I jumped at the opportunity. We decided to celebrate my birthday a week early and enjoy a night out. We ate at a place called Catacombs which we had been wanting to try for a while and ended up really liking it.

We also stayed at the Davenport hotel in downtown Spokane. It was my first time away from the boys overnight and was a little weird for me. I was really looking forward to sleeping in, but my internal clock woke me up right at the normal time they would have woken me up at home. I was able to go back to sleep so it worked out. Landon and Elliot both slept beautifully for Nanay and actually let her sleep in a little. Thanks to her for watching the boys!!!
The hotel lobby was pretty fancy although I am not sure what is up with the gold rhino?

More Fun in Arizona
We had a great trip to Arizona and loved seing all our family. Thanks to everyone who helped watch the boys for me various times. It was nice to get away a few times, even if it was only to do my taxes:) Here are some more pictures from our trip.
Elliot loved pushing this walker around the house. I loved it when he would push Landon around in it.

Since I wasn't going to be around for my birthday, we celebrated a week early and had a girls lunch at Macaroni grill. Mom also made birthday dinner for me including my favorite, an ice cream oreo cake. Mmm, mmm!
When they brought out the birthday cake, Landon made a dive for it. He put the candle out in the process and got chocolate and whipped cream all over his hands. He is not happy with Heidi and I for holding his hands and not letting him make more of a mess.

My mom got an email saying that Mesquite Groves pool was open and that the water was heated. It sounded like fun and so a bunch of us went down to the pool the day before we left for Spokane. Elliot loved the water. He splashed liked crazy and had fun on the slide and in the whirlpool. Landon was nervous about being in the water. He loves baths, but something about the pool scares him.

Elliot's First Haircut
Elliot got his first haircut while we were in Arizona. I didn't cut much, just a little off the top. He was getting a bit of a mohawk before I cut it.

Goodbye Cold, Hello Sun
For Spring Break, Brooks and I packed up the boys and headed to Arizona. It was nice to see family and the weather was great. The first day Brooks and I were sweating because it was so hot, but we adjusted quickly.
The day before we left for AZ it snowed

Yes, we actually swam at an outdoor pool in March...unheard of in Spokane.
