Play Date

Donelle came into town for the boys baby blessing and so we all got together on Friday to eat lunch and visit at Kelley's house. We even got a picture of all the cousins and no one was injured in the process:) Emery is wearing a ballet outfil that I gave to Kelley at her baby shower. It is fun that it finally fits.

Saying His Prayers

Visit from the Dobbins

Joe, Shelli, Denton and Myah came to visit from Idaho last week. We had them over at our house Monday evening for dinner and to visit. Luckily, I have a few kid toys lying around and we were able to use these mega blocks to build some cool things. This is a castle Denton built, but he also builds a pretty cool looking ship. After building the ship, he proceeded to tell us all about how Nephi built a ship and that his brothers, Laman and Lemuel, were mean to him. I love it when kids know scripture stories! Dallin even came over to play with Denton and they had fun racing cars down a ramp and playing in the yard. We were able to see the Dobbins a few more times during the week, and they were able to come to the boys baby blessing yesterday. It was fun visiting with them.

Looking Around

Landon enjoys being on his stomach and looking around. Here is a cute video Brooks took of him. It almost looks like he is dancing to the music:)

1 month

Landon and Elliot had are now 1 month old! They had a doctor's appointment on Friday and got their pictures taken. Landon now weighs 9 lbs 8 oz and Elliot is 8 lbs 8 oz. The doctor was very impressed by their weight gain. Both boys are nursing pretty well and we are supplementing less and less. Nursing 2 children has been difficult, but I am glad I have stuck with it. Things are finally starting to go faster with nursing and I love spending that time with each of them. I nurse both of them at the same time occasionally, but our skill level usually necessitates nursing individually. It is crazy how big they are getting and how much they change every day! During the pictures, Landon was wide awake (and a bit fussy) and Elliot slept the entire time. They turned out pretty well though.

3 weeks old (June 3) - I love these little sleepers and just couldn't resist taking more pics of the boys:)

Photo Shoot

My mom came over one morning and did a photo shoot with the boys. We tried to take a few pictures with no clothes, but didn't have too many successful photos where nothing was showing. We did get some great pictures of the boys though. They are 3 weeks old in these pictures. Landon was a awake and alert for most of the pictures and Elliot slept the whole time.

Cousins

Landon and Elliot have 4 cousins, 3 of which will be in the same grade as them at school. It will be fun to have so many cousins close to their age as they get older and can play together.

Ian is 6 months older than them

Emery is almost 8 months older than them

Dallin is 2+ years older than them and Steven is 6 months older

Cars, Cars

Dallin absolutely loves cars! He usually says, "Cars, cars," when discussing anything car related. While at my parents a couple of Sundays ago, the boys set up a makeshift car ramp and had fun sending cars flying down it. I think Brooks and Mark had as much fun as Dallin did.

Steven is learnig to crawl and enjoys exploring anything on the floor.

Crandell Family Pictures

Over Memorial Day weekend we took family pictures with the Crandells since Donelle was in town. It was the first big family photo shoot for Landon & Elliot.

Brooks is the designated burper. He does a much better job at it than me. He is also in charge of swaddling. Once again, a much better swaddler than me.

Aravaipa

Brooks hiked Aravaipa Canyon with his dad and brothers last weekend. They had a great time. It was his last big thing with the boys before we move. Brooks said there was less water than he expected and so they didn't do much swimming. It was his first night away since Landon and Elliot were born. Luckily, Susie, Taryn & Kelley came out during the day to help and my parents stayed the night.
